That being said it would make a lot of sense if Anthony Johnson decided to transfer. His stats are horrendous this year. Unless he gets drastically better in the off season, it should be easy for any of the freshman to surpass his productivity. Right now, Ronnie is better in every category except 3pt% and by all accounts, Bryson Scott and Kendall Stephens are much better shooters than RJ.Andrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00981081456317462825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36696801.post-73253736665777142052013-02-14T11:19:06.765-05:002013-02-14T11:19:06.765-05:00When I watched officials give Painter his first te...When I watched officials give Painter his first technical, I thought to myself, let them have it Matty. I liked his ejection as well. I feel that we all believe that he should show more of that side of himself.

However, I don't know how much or if the team will even respond at all to his ejection. From the product that they have been putting out on the court over the past few games, it sure looks like they've put this season in the bag, tied it up and put it on the curb for garbage day.

I've been waiting all season for a big road win (or just a big win in general) and I don't see it happening this year.Brotherman85https://www.blogger.com/profile/10034541913259844746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36696801.post-27201316299695108602013-02-14T11:11:16.529-05:002013-02-14T11:11:16.529-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17104291716771545395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36696801.post-87545608034980306262013-02-14T10:22:01.424-05:002013-02-14T10:22:01.424-05:00As always, manning up, AZ!As always, manning up, AZ!boilerdowdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08356708955038289503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36696801.post-48149842595890946052013-02-14T09:35:46.003-05:002013-02-14T09:35:46.003-05:00Ooops, the last comment (Unknown) was by me. I think it's an attempt to motivate the team. It would be nice to see Purdue come out of the locker room with some fire in their belly.

I agree that Ronnie seems ready to play and handle the lions share at point, but Rapheal seems uncomfortable on the court. Rapheal can't seem to find his role/identity. A-John seems lost on offense and forgets to move his feet on defense. If DJ can stop forcing shots and share his leadership role instead of attempting to be "The Guy", I think the offense needs him on the floor. DJ stretches the defense as he demands coverage. Without him on the floor, Purdue has no viable threat for outside shooting and defense can pack the lane thus eliminating our slashers and neutralizing Hammonds with quick double teams.AZBoilerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10673025204182464627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36696801.post-69364177347037387682013-02-14T09:24:54.123-05:002013-02-14T09:24:54.123-05:00I had quit watching by then but there was a commer...I had quit watching by then but there was a commercial so I had flipped back to the game just as MP got booted. I stuck around for a couple of minutes and did not notice that it had any impact on the team at all. I didn't notice any ramp up of intensity after the ejection. If his intention was to see if it would fire up the team I suspect Matt was disappointed with the outcome.CODhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16207776957256101693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36696801.post-65325730679943118232013-02-14T09:22:13.005-05:002013-02-14T09:22:13.005-05:00I agree with everything Matt said...
