I was mucho confused. So something isn't kosher.

As for '01, I didn't realize that was intentionally scheduled for apres T-giving.J Moneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09925161304409415806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36696801.post-90955303590937044992010-08-20T09:31:53.132-04:002010-08-20T09:31:53.132-04:00I was at that 2001 game. Purdue would have won if not for the weather IMO. My girlfriend at the time who was not a Purdue fan was not amused. Needless to say that didn't last much longer.

One note, referring to IU as Crimson Jihad......Priceless. I realize you mentioned 2001, but that year was one of those once-or-twice-a-decade situations in which the Big Ten scheduled its final games after Thanksgiving well before 9/11 happened, and then 9/11 further extended things into December.

The 1995 game was on a Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, and was broadcast on ABC (some programming director presumably lost his job for that decision). The only decent player that either of those two wretched teams put on the field that day was Mike Allstott, and he ran for about 500 yards and 8 TDs, or so it seemed.John Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00904933804078748933noreply@blogger.com
