It's official, Butch Davis has been named the head coach of the UNC Fighting Tar Heels. Now all of Chapel Hill will get the experience the glory that is the prevent defense.Up by 1? Other team on the 2 yard line? 20 seconds left in the game? Let's put our cornerbacks out of the end zone so that they have plenty of room to cover the deep pass!
It's like the Tecmo Bowl defense. You know the one where you run backwards with your quarterback and throw it one hundred yards in a huge parabola. That's the play that Butch Davis guards against. Every time.Best of luck UNC. You haven't beaten a D1A team this year, so there's no where to go but up.
