Dwelling in the unfamiliar AL East cellar, the Yankees dropped yet another game Tuesday night against a gritty Tampa Bay club.The question is, where do they go from here? You already know that Jeter is good...and the Yankees have over 10 current and former All-Stars on the roster. But, their pitching staff is beleaguered and the Post and other rags are circling the clubhouse like vultures.
Would a managerial change have an immediate impact? Can Ole Fat 22 turn around the rotation? How long will Cashman keep his job? We will see how this all plays out.
At least a third of the city still has the Mets.

Actually, they were beat by a gritty Toronto club earlier this week, not Tampa. Rays...Jays... not that it matters anymore. Everybody beats the Yankees.
Still, we've played two months of a six month season. It's far from over. And I don't think the Sux are going to play .700 baseball all season. Either way, the Yanks can't win the division every year... it's been a decade since someone else did so whoop-dee-doo.

Spoken like a true Yanks fan. I hate to sound like a guy from the UK, but you couldn't even give the Sox props while your boys were languishing in the muck & mire of last place? Come on now, Boston is a good club this year. Probably not .700 good, but pretty close.
The MLB should contract and stop diluting the product. Make it a 16-20 team league...get pitching back to the level it needs to be. First thing they need to do is get out of Canada! Next thing, shorten the season by, I don't know 50%...Alright, I'm not much of an MLB fan, but I do love seeing the Yankees lose.
