I'm glad some of you like the new tradition of "Shout!"...Sure, it's a crappy, soft, ultra-soulless derivative of "Jump Around" at UW, but oh well. Here's what I see everytime I see people doing "Shout!":
That is awesome!
(That's Purdue's President France Cordova bringin' it!)
By the way, here's a picture of the rabbit that got on the field during Saturday's contest (reminded me very much of the same thing that happened back in '93, I believe).
Now, here's a picture of the two bunny costumes in the student section (I don't know why, but I found this very funny).

Yes, if only Purdue could be more current and less "white" with something trendy and cutting edge, like... Jump Around. Oy.
Hey, like I said, I'm just happy when I see some life out of our crowd. I know that's sad to say but we've become realists writing about Purdue every day.
Also: the bunny costume makes me laugh out loud each time I see it, too.
Jump Around gets people crazy...Shout! makes old people reminisce.
I have to agree with the "shout" situation... it's our conservative, and old fashioned answer to jump around... it's a disgrace... all i think about when that song comes on is wow how corny do we sound when the PA yells out "It's time to shout!!!" But as much as that irks me, I'm more pissed off at the students doing the wave while the game is in doubt... when we could be making it harder for the opposing offense to hear the snap count... but no we have to be lame and start the wave
Agreed, Mr. (or Mrs.) Anonymous!
Shout stinks, the wave stinks more.
I think the students would dig "Slam!"...I really think the students have been pretty great...Shout! isn't the catalyst.
Not a fan of "Shout." Enjoyed the rabbit on the field though.
The guys in the bunny costumes loved the rabbit on the field - they moved down to the front row and were jumping up and down.
I too hate 'Shout' and your spelling of the president's name.
I'm pretty sure it's France Cordova.
Down with 'Shout.' Up with bunny costumes.
OK... the only time shout can be played is if Neil Armstrong or Drew Brees introduces it... only because those two guys are the most recognizable Purdue alums and the crowd actually gets hyped...
