A Letter To Jim Delaney (& Rich Falk)

Just got this note from a concerned BS reader and thought I'd share it as he is going to send it on to Delaney's office via US Mail.

Thanks to our guest contributor (whose name I have edited out).

Dear Mr. Delaney:

I have a modest suggestion: The next time the Purdue University and Penn State University football teams meet, it would be a good idea to send an officiating crew that has some working knowledge of the rules governing clock stoppage, what constitutes a reception and what constitutes unnecessary roughness. In addition, it would be nice to send a technical advisor/video-replay crew to the next meeting, given that there apparently wasn’t one deployed for last weekend’s game.

The teams play again on October 4, 2008.

Regards,
