Good Get

Purdue just added a transfer from GT to the offense, not for next season, but for the '09 campaign. DJ Donley, a former 4-star recruit who played quite a bit as a Freshman, left GT following Chan Gailey's departure from Atlanta. He was thinking about both South Carolina and Purdue since both heavily recruited him out of high school. He'll join fellow Georgian receiver/athlete Ralph Bolden at Purdue. Is this enough pictures for you daffodils?
Honestly, I don't have a great feeling about this guy since it feels a bit like a snap decision...But, I hope I'm very wrong and he has three very-productive seasons at Purdue with Siller at quarterback. He seems to be a great fit since Purdue's in desperate need of a big receiver with Orton graduating after this coming season.

I don't think its a snap decision since Purdue had already recruited him.

It looks like he gets tackled very nicely.

NICE ACTION SHOT... YOU DIDNT HAVE ONE OF HIM SITTING ON THE BENCH?

Hey, If he can catch the ball and stay out of trouble, he's good enough for me.

He's not allowed in any of Selwyn's hangouts...

This is a RUMOR! Word around GA and his hometown is that he is returning to GT this summer.

As I told you, I was right...He signed last week.

Wouldn't it seem that "word around GA" would be rumour?

Indeed, he's a Boilermaker, and the more I read the more I get excited.

Here's an entry from a Tech blog that speaks rather highly of him. I think he can more than fill the dirty void left by he who shall go nameless (and hopefully scoreless).
