It's taken me a while to warm up to the idea of voting for McCain...but when I look at the alternatives, it stings less and less. I'm not necessarily posting views that represent Tim and J, this is just me...But this is one of the best presidential commercials I've ever seen.

If he is trying to make sure the remaining living WWII Vets vote for him it's a brilliant commercial. I'm not sure it's going to do much for him with the under 40 demographic that he needs to win though. I found it horribly depressing, and I'm not in the under 40 demographic anymore. Has he already decided his administration will be 8 more years of war? That's the message I took from that commercial.
cod, I'm in my 30s and found it very effective...But different people can disagree.
There's a principle that he's trying to reflect- he's a strong leader. I'm not a fan of the way he answers questions sometimes and haven't agreed with some of the policy he's gotten behind. That said, I agree with him on some important issues, to me.
Whether or not we'll be at war for 8 years is to be seen, but we will have a very active military for the coming decade.
Which other countries will own due to our failing economy.......hell, we just gave a large contract to a european run aviation company! Think they will make our planes when we decide to start a war they don't agree with????
you think Boeing could pick up the slack?
How about MD?
You know more about that industry than I ever will...You're smart enough to know that the American infrastructure can support US needs when the chips are down.
How about keeping politics out of it?
We are all Boilermaker fans, lets not mix things up. I come here to talk Purdue sports, nothing else(well except for the occasional sideboob)...
