Another heap of praise has been placed on the forehead of next year's Purdue Boiler basketball squad...Parrish even gave cover boy Robbie Hummel the featured photo. It looks like this article is pre-Scott Martin defection, so it needs a bit of adjustment. That said, he doesn't mention Martin as a featured player, so maybe not. Maybe this lack of pub is an example of why Martin wasn't comfortable with playing for this talented group at Purdue...Who knows.
Sure, super-early prognostications are pretty goofy...Regardless, it's damned fun to be an alum of a nationally respected basketball team again. Hopefully, these guys can play this role as well as underdog.

These things are so stupid. So much can happen between now and then. It just shows how big the machine has gotten that they need to feed it constantly. I guess we're part of the problem, because we keep reading the crap.
With the doldrums of summer nearly upon us, I welcome this stuff...Yeah, it's drivel, but I like it more than early-season baseball.

According to the comments under that article, the guy had UNC, KU, Memphis and UCLA as his top four last year. Not that it's going out on a limb to pick those schools... I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'. Already looking forward to next year.
