As I drove to work this morning and impatiently scrolled through my XM radio channels, I stopped on ESPN Radio for a few minutes (which is about all I can stand of them in the morning anymore) and heard Chris Mortensen was on.
It's irrelevant what Mort was talking about but at one point I heard him refer to "Radio Music City Hall," and I did an ear double-take... wait, did he just say what I think he did? Gosh, that's funny... but it's one of those slip-ups we've all done. And then he did it again. And again, before I switched off.
Yes, Chris Mortensen, one ESPN's draft "experts," and a guy who has covered the draft for as long as many of us have been alive, thinks it takes place in a location known as "Radio Music City Hall." This placed also hosted the ESPYs once, I think.
Does Mort think it's sort of like "City Hall" but with dancing and music? And not just any music... Radio Music.
Other places Mort visited while in New York for the draft:
Square Times
CenterFeller Rocker
Stadee Yankium
Square Madison Garden (love those York New Rangers!)
Central Grand Station

Wow, it's a good thing you guys never screw-up on Boiled Sports.
Sure is.
It's also a good thing Mortenson gets paid well into six figures for what he does...J, Tim and Boilerdowd get paid three figures for running this site...and it's split three ways. You can barely call us professionals.
Yeah, seriously... I love when bozos make comments like that, either on here or in life.
It's like when someone takes a bad shot in the NBA playoffs and you go, "Oh, horrible shot!" and the lame-o nearby says something like, "I think he's still better than you are." Or some crap like that.
Not. The. Point.
Calm down, anon, Purdue's off season is (thankfully) very quiet this year and Purdue athletes aren't being arrested at their normal rate. These guys need to feed the sharks here looking for something sarcastic to read. Plus, ESPN sucks monkey balls and will be derided here by both bloggers and readers alike - deal with it.

I found the typo to be more hilarious because of your subject matter. Keep up the fine work.
