And then there was one...

The last remnants of Kelvin Sampson's recruiting genius is set to leave Bloomington. Jordan Crawford will transfer out of IU, officially. It's been rumored for about three weeks that this was coming. Now, the Kyle Taber era can officially begin for the Hoosiers.

Get 'em, Kyle!

I started to feel sorry for Crean, then I remembered how much he is getting paid. That feeling quickly left. Seriously, there will be AUA teams better than IU next year.

I'm actually disappointed by this. Its not going to be much of a game when we play these guys next season and the win won't be that significant because of all their attrition. We could have beaten them at Mackey last year and we could have whooped them at Mackey this year if they kept everyone but White & Gordon.

Regardless if we're excited or disappointed about it, it is what it is. I'm sure IU fans would love to see it different as well, but they made the deal with Sampson...they're now paying for it.

I hope they get the much-deserved punishment from the NCAA, but I don't think that will happen...so it should be 2-3 seasons before they're respectable again. Anything short of that would be astonishing and one of the best coaching jobs in the history of collegiate basketball.
