Try actually being at the race like I was. Every time it looked like the front was going to catch the back of the field and get some real racing going they would through a caution.
At least we had some nice Ohio State fans next to us to talk some football.
I'm working at a glass company off of Rockville Road away from, well, everything, so it makes lunch difficult. I am very interested in the tapes though. The next time I'm in Kokomo I can burn them onto DVD's for you as well if you would like.

That is good news- aOSU fans are fun!
By the way, I have some tapes for you- games ranging from 1998-2003, I believe. We should meet for lunch this week.
So what was the deal? Did they try some new tires? Why didn't they just use the same tires that always work?
Damned good question.
Supposedly, they change compounds every year. The difference this year is they didn't test at Indy and tested at Pocono instead...
I think it's a collaborative failure- Nascab & Goodyear are both at fault. Indy's diamond-ground surface has been around for a while.
On the tapes and lunch:
