If you're like me, you've already seen all of yesterday's sports highlights five separate times, but if you didn't see this hit on Arizona's Anquan Boldin late in the Jets destruction of the Cards yesterday, it's worth seeing.
As Harold Reynolds would say, "Mercy!"
And hey, well-done, Kurt Warner. Nothing like leading your team's best receiver right into a head-on collision with a locomotive.
Ouch.

both of those defenders should be fined, if not suspended.
agreed, at least the second guy.
The sad thing is, if he'd launched himself at Warner like that, he'd probably have been ejected. The NFL is hyper-protective of QBs and hypo-protective of everyone else.
Apparently they're cracking down on hits like this (much like the NHL has - bit by bit and not nearly enough - and like the NCAA claims to, although I didn't notice a certain IU player suspended for ending Love's career). This would be a great opportunity to demonstrate that they take these hits seriously.
NFL levied a one-game suspension and a $50K fine. Pretty stiff, by pro sports fines.

I mostly agree with your comments, but Love lowered his helmet going into that hit. It's hard to pin all the blame on the defender for that one. Just a bad situation.
