Thanks, Wildcats!

Northwestern helped the rest of the league greatly by beating Sparty. Honestly, this game might prove to be a conference race changer an shows the strength of the BT...It also makes me feel much better about Purdue's near-loss in Evanston.

I'm on the road, so I'm posting via my mobile device...I type about four words/minute on this machine, so this will be brief.

Nothing changes for Purdue- our Boilers need to be more-consistent on offense, continue improvement on the glass and of course, keep playing drum-tight defense. The biggest thing is they must stay humble, hungry an take nothing for granted.

Like I've said, Matty and co. are not playing for the conference title, they're playing for tourney seed...you keep winning and both will take care of themselves.

it's so hard to not be selfish with this huge upset. but agreed... this changes NOTHING in regards to what purdue has to do during the rest of big10 play.

this 5 game stretch is even more crucial as it will start to put pressure on the rest of the conference.

I agree we still got a lot to work on. We have to stay humble and hungry and act like we have something to prove, because frankly, WE DO. Let's get them Boilers starting tomorrow in the Barn.

Don't sleep on Northwestern... those guys are now 2-4 in the Big Ten after beating consecutive ranked teams... plus they SHOULD have beaten us and that would make them 3-3 and suddenly being on the bubble of making the tourney would seem within reach.
