Torri Back for a Sixth
Torri Williams will return for a rare sixth season at Purdue due to the NCAA granting him an extra season of eligibility. Williams has suffered a wide array of season-enders...but now will have a chance to sure up Purdue's secondary in '09. Hopefully, he can keep away from any driving violations for the next calendar year.

Great news for Torri. I think he was starting to emerge as a leader last year and this will help what will be the strength of our defense.
Wasn't he a part of the secondary that was repeatedly torched by Golden Tate and Co. in South Bend last year?
I'm just saying...
Hopefully a new DC will be able to do a better job of protecting our secondary.
I do like the idea of veteran leadership.
dozer, remember- that was the period in the season where there was no pressure on the QB...things got better as the linebackers came along a bit.
I think Williams might be All Big Ten next season...gotta stay away from the law.
Someone send him a few boxes of condoms so he doesn't feel compelled to steal any from PayLess.
