Good gracious. I didn't realize there were seats in the new Yankee Stadium that were higher than the effing flagpole. What's funny is that because of the camera lens (I guess), it looks like this photo is from higher than the top of the stadium.
That fan looks like he's enjoying himself. Though to be fair, April in New York is one thing -- April in New York at high altitude is quite another.

How much do you think a ticket for his seat costs?
Yankees Suck, that is all. Bo Sox will win the East.
The Yanks have to find SOME way to make enough revenue to a) overpay for every free agent out there and b) make sure Hank Steinbrenner can buy that new yacht.
Yes, yes, the Yankees spend a lot... and then the Steinbrenners put 800-900 million of their own money into a new stadium. So there's that. You guys can go on bitching about it. Enjoy watching frugal teams like the Royals win 65 games.
And Paul, actually, there are $5 tickets in the new Stadium so I would have to think those are close to that. My father's 10-game mini-plan costs about $20 a seat and it's in the upper level but about even with third base.
That's not bad. I was actually curious, because Hank came out last week saying that some of the seats may be over priced.
The highest-priced ones are $2500 per. Which is insane. But not THAT surprising given that it's New York and it's a brand-new park. I recall Bulls/Lakers/Knicks courtside seats being similarly/proportionally ludicrous in the 90s.
Yes, of course they're overpriced... everything is these days. Especially in ballparks and especially in New York.
