Turns out, that lassie is Rita Benson LeBlance, the granddaughter of the Saints owner. She's 31, she'll probably be running the team one day soon, they're real and they're fantastic. Or so says Reggie Bush. Not really.
I do like that she's carrying the ball in thie photo, while wind blows her hair around and Drew and Reggie.... do what, exactly? Are they posing like New Kids on the Block or something?

I'm not sure if it's an age thing or a sex thing or a cronyism thing, but it pisses me off and that picture does not help. The fact that she and I are the same age does not help. (I'm waiting for the phone call from my disappointed father once he sees this story).
So I wonder out loud, what would it take for a 31 yo female NFL executive making football-related decisions to earn the geniune respect and acceptence by the football-loving population? It doesn't help that we live in a country with millions of fantasy football 'owners' who pretend to do the same job.

Okay, I guess I'll answer my own question. The best way I could think to answer it was with concrete examples rather than a hypothetical resume.

That's all I got. She's smart, she's not getting the job because she's family, she's older than me, she's been a noted long-time fan, and she wouldn't pose in the afore mentioned stupid picture.
I'd guess there's also a couple of women that are BCS school ADs that might do a fine job, but I couldn't name any. Iowa's AD and Washington's old AD need not apply.
