I love these spots, but I hope we win our first couple of games because an OSU-grad friend of mine keeps mocking this campaign by saying "We are ... One and Eleven."
I love clowns like that. So we shouldn't market ourselves if we're not expected to be dominant? So stupid. But then, so are a lot of fans.
Is there any truth to the rumor that Jason Werner shattered he back while filming this spot?
In all seriousness, I like Hope being the mouthpiece for the team. If he's the player's coach that he's supposed to be, he could set this team in any direction he wants. I honestly believe what he's saying. It's either good marketing or sincerity.
Any ideas on the new OT/DL that just signed?

All i know is this: If hope can coach the way he does a commercial, we are in for an unexpected number of wins! I'm feeling pretty fired up right now while I pour this glass of kool-aid.
The realistic Purdue fan knows this is a tough rebuilding job and it will be at least 3 years before we are competing for a News Years Day bowl again. That said, we'll never get there if Hope isn't excited and selling the program to anyone that will listen.
