How many losses is okay for the BCS?

It's just too bad. And not fair. This was the year that the echoes would win it all, right? They still can right? Won't the media make it happen? I mean, come on. Michigan is obviously the Michigan of old. They'd have to be. They beat Notre Dame after all. You have to be a freaking* good team to beat them after all.

Also (not to kick the guy whiles he's down, but...) how many hot dogs does that guy eat every day? Seriously. I'm not in stellar shape either, but at least I'm taller than I am wide.

* applies to any team that is not Hawaii or has a winning record.

Post Oregon Game Comment: Guys, I really really really like this Purdue Team. We are bowl bound. Yes I have had quite a few Busch Lights. That was a game that could have easily been won and probably should have been, but for some reason it still feels like we won. How awesome was that last play for a touchdown? Let answer that - it was freaking awesome. Danny Hope was the right man for the job, and Joey Elliot should have been our QB for the last 3 years. I really think that this is going to be a fun year. 8+ wins this year!!!

Don't drink and post...doesn't feel like my alma mater won, to me.

But, I appreciate the optimism.

Not a win, but I certainly think we'll be more competitive in the B-10 than originaly prognosticated by the experts.

I wouldn't go so far as to say it feels like we won, but it sure doesn't feel like the Boilers are gonna' finish tenth in the Big Ten, that's for sure.

Take away two bad turnovers and we'd have won this game easily. Maybe Oregon was a bit overrated in preseason polls but they are a very fast defense and a very dynamic offense and we showed that we can compete at that level - and in a very difficult road environment as well.

I'd always rather have the win but that was not a bad loss at all.
