A Look At Oregon's LaRunning Back Position

With LaGarrette Blount out of the picture, Oregon will call on the elusive, 5'9" 180# redshirt frosh, LaMichael James to start versus Purdue.

Yes, he also has "La" in front of his name.

Do you think Belotti & Kelly only recruit RBs whose names begin with "La"?
I'm just saying.

Also, isn't "Le" the masculine form of "the" and "La" the feminine form?
I'm just saying.

What we do know about James is that he's a former 4-star recruit with 4.4 speed out of Texas...and he'll be starting the first game of his career when Purdue comes to Eugene.

It's getting kind of pornographic around here, talking about the Boilers being "in Eugene."

Who's this Eugene?

you should stop saying, "I'm just saying." like an idiot. I find this comment racist.

Andrew, is that racist against the French?

I'm just saying.

To all of our French readers, I apologize.

I'm impressed that any of you jackals knows squat about French. That Purdue education reared its ugly head, did it?

Andrew, if you want to raise a beef with recurring phrases why don't you give the "I'm high on (choose one) Purdue's chances in this game|Hope|the chances of health care reform this year|whatever else you are hopeful about" phrase a cycle or two? The stoner vote finds it offensive... we reject getting high on anything not grown in the ground. I reject the notion that you can get high on coach Hope until he's in the ground and feeding special trees.

Just sayin'.

LOL!!!

Nice name, BTW.

acacia...good points...I'm just saying...good points.

Andrew, you might have assured one thing- that I say "I'm just saying" way too much now.

Unlike many of you clowns who visit here, I was a LA major- I took two semesters of French...and did poorly, might I add.

My wife lived in France during high school for three months...and she might speak less French than I do...if you don't use it, you lose it. Now, I'm off...

Je m'apelle boilerdowd.
Je conduis ma voiture tres bien.
Je suis tres drole.
Je joue au football Americain.
J'adore Purdue.
Je parle bien le Francais!

Je dis juste.

Merde!

Alright, no more French for me...that's all I know.

Actually, Andrew, if YOU knew anything about French you'd know that by me using "Tu" I'm (deliberately) showing you less respect than by using "Vous." Vous is more formal, more respectful, etc. I didn't think you warranted that -- assuming you were serious about us being racist. Because that's a hell of an accusation to throw.

Vous parlez Francais come une vache Espanol.
