Will the real Purdue please stand up?!

How about that first half, folks?

Combine inept offense, sluggish, slow defense and the old mistake-laden Special Teams, and what do you get?

24-0, that's what.

Next week, Purdue should practice and watch film instead of going to the pumpkin patch every afternoon.

Trick...on Purdue fans for believing...Treat...for the beer-swilling cheese-clogged Badger nation.

it looks similar to the Minnesota game....I don't know what to tell you why this team looks like a 1A Indiana High school football team (although CC might be just as competitive against Wisconsin)... need to recruit better and focus better?

Another Halloween tragedy - you guys jinxed us!

At least we got to see Terbush, right?

Yeah, what a delight that TerBush performance was.

I guess we better watch what we wish for.

How did that team beat OSU and hang with Oregon?

I would be encouraged by Illinois beating Michigan if Purdue hadn't pooped the bed like that.

This was just a reminder that this is still a rebuilding year. Purdue is not as good as their best games and not as bad as their worst games ... unfortunately I think they're not right in the middle.

And, coupled with Iowa's desperate attempts to give IU another win, it's a reminder that the Bucket is not at all a certainty this season.

I'm unhappy... is it basketball season yet?

Also, woooo... party!

Bright spots:

1) We held 'em to 14 in the second half.

2) The game was only four quarters long.

3)We might have found an answer to the "1-2-3-4...First Down, B$#&^" Debate: Not make any.

3) QB recruits across the country now know we have an opening next season...

Maybe this means Michigan will be sleeping on us next week?

I'm not too worried about the Bucket. I think it's pretty clear how to beat I.U.: Spot 'em a 21 point lead.

Dozer, you must not be to informed about the football team. No need for QB recruits. We've got Robert Marve for next year, after sitting out a year for the transfer. Expect huge things from him. In regards to saturday's game, I was just disappointed the team looked like they just didnt even want to be there in the first place.

I said the same thing cplinty -- they didn't even want to be in the stadium. Atrocious.

cplinty:

You must not be that well informed about Mr. Marve:

Let's not fool ourselves. He lost his starting position at Miami. He was arrested. He dinged his knee.

I am interested in Rob Henry, Sean Robinson, and I'm still curious what TerBush can do. Also, Siller might be back it the mix(?)

I'm just saying, no one is running away with the starting role next year.

And you think that Siller, someone who had nothing to lose and everything the gain goes a cheats on a test should be given another chance? No way, I hope he never puts on a Purdue uniform.I know plenty about Marve. He lost his spot, to at one point someone being cosidered for the Heisman, hes rehabbing fine and is dressing with the team. He is by far the best option we have, best ball thrower out of any QB on the roster and Najee Tyler is coming up in the ranks as well.

Okay, agreed. I just won't be a part of the whole "it's going to be different next year because we have Marve."

Marve was benched because of accuracy issues. We have plenty QB's like that now...

I forgot about Najee Tyler. I guess all we can do is wait and see.
