Tell Us More About the Awesome Big East

No, seriously. Tell us more! More about how awesome and tough and brutal the Big East is!

Syracuse lost -- at fricking home -- to a D-II school.

That is all.

Great jaundiced view of this on the SU sports blog "Troy Nunes is an Absolute Magician," which is nearly at the same quality level as Boiled Sports for its equal parts snark, analysis, reporting, and fanboy levels. I'm not a Syracuse guy (anybody who's been to that town, especially in the winter, knows what a hellhole it is, quality education and athletic tradition be damned), but I find myself checking in on this one from time-to-time. Believe me, these guys are gleefully pouring salt onto an open wound reporting this themselves.

Seriously, congrats to a motivated LeMoyne squad.

I won't hate since MSU lost to Grand Valley State a couple of years ago in exhibition. I think it was one of their lesser years, perhaps 2006-2007? Still, it happens.

Don't forget Wisconsin's loss a few years (2005-2006) back to then Div II North Dakota State.

On that note, Kentucky Wesleyan is the previous Div II champion (I think) and will not be an easy pushover next game for the Boilermakers. Div II champ will likely play better than Cal State Fullerton which is our first Div I foe.
