Notice in the last two pictures that there was actually a defensive goal-tend by Davis. I'm sure there would have been no call by the refs had Kramer missed the layup.
Dowd, thanks for the great set of pictures. The last three, of CK crushing A&M's season, are worth a closer look. Third from the last shows some possible Boiler fans (Band?) SITTING while CK wins the game. Also shows a bald, bearded old A&M fan about to cry. Second from last show Walkup and Davis fouling each other in their panic to get to Kramer, sorry too little too late. Last shows Purdue Pete (he appears in an earlier photo also), some bored writers, and an A&M fan with arms folded, watching their season end.
Row Boilers, in that third shot from the end you are seeing the band sitting while CK3 wins the game. They're required to do so by NCAA officials so they don't block the view of paying fans at the tournament (I was with the Boiler Brass during the 2007 trip to NO that ended with the Florida game, so I know how this works).
Trust me in that they'd be standing all game if they weren't forbidden to do so by the NCAA.
Row: To echo what Eric said, I know the kid who has his head in his hands. After A&M missed the shot on the other side, there were 5 guards in front of the band, making sure no one ran onto the court.

Does the blue tongue prove what some people have long suspected: Kramer isn't human, but some sort of super-being?
I'm just sayin'...
