Dr. Shelborne's take on ACL injuries

Good info from a great doctor. Robbie's in good hands, if nothing else.
I believe he's talking about Waddell in the interview.

The great news I take from this is that it doesn't seem Hummel will have to miss any of '10/'11.

He did my ACL surgery in 2003. Took tendon from my left knee and used to fix the ACL in my right knee. This is his preferred method because it forces you to rehab two weak knees at one time instead of one strong knee and one very weak knee. I bet this is what they do with Robbie.

Less than a year later I was back playing basketball and running. I now run about 15 miles a week with no soreness or pain. Robbie is in good hands.
