Good news- EsPN's Forde is reporting that the NCAA tournament field will expand to only 68 teams in 2011. Very good news, in my opinion...and honestly, not a bad way to do it. The 64/65 game was so lonely all by itself anyway and all of its first round counterparts made fun of it all the time. Good for the Dayton play-in; now it has some playmates.

Hey! Pay attention over here! I already wrote about that.
If this means that most of the games will not be on CBS, I'm all for that. TBS et al can't possibly screw it up as badly as CBS has recently.
I think the best plan for the four opening-round games would be to have two sessions in Dayton. If the whole point of having the current game there is because it's the only place that could sell a decent number of tickets, I wouldn't expect that to change with four games rather than one. (After all, it'll be 16s, not 9s and 10s, playing in the other games.)
I don't know that ratings and ticket sales would be any good with both sessions on one day. They should probably do two games Tuesday with the winners going to Thursday sites and two games Wednesday with the winners going to Friday sites.
