We're going low carb and light this week since the players aren't killing themselves either. Bring your awkwardly long forks folks, fondue's a brewin'
- Under Hope, Purdue is 1-0 after a bye week (Northwestern last year); I couldn't seem to find a 2009 bye week..
- In 2001, Purdue had a week 2 bye (9/8/01); Notre Dame was to be the Week 3 game (9/15/11); Because of this, the nation had stopped playing college football - for safety as well as no desire to celebrate. The Notre Dame game was then pushed to 12/1/01, a week after the Bucket game. We lost to ND, but made it to the Sun Bowl (Loss to Washington St)

This is cheery. A mention of 9/11 AND that sordid history against Notre Dame. I'm surprised there isn't a picture of a sad dog in a shelter.
I vividly remember the '96 game. I want to say, off the top of my head, that John Reeves started that game and looked pretty dismal.
I'm really concerned that the ND game will consists of Brian Kelly play calls which paper cut our defense across the middle all night. We'll need a pass rush to keep them out of rhythm. The pass rush so far hasn't been effective enough.
Boiledsports... We need to spread the news as much as possible for everyone to know that Gary Harris will be at the game on his official visit. A couple Gary Harris chants couldn't hurt!
Ronnie Johnson will be there as well
I bet my coworker that we would lose by at least 30 (he's an OMHR fan). I know they won't let me down.
