The Scale: aOSU

I nearly let this series die, unintentionally, but just because the games this season have either been overwhelmingly-good or bad...but after a reminder from J I thought I'd give it another run...we'll see if it returns next week.

"The Scale" is an easily-digested, overly-simplified, post-game synopsis from Boiled Sports.

Always good to beat Columbus $tate. I couldn't have been more wrong on this game and find it hilarious that they struggle in Ross Ade. Boiler up in Puerto Rico!

Just over 50k? ESPN lists official attendance as 43,334.

Yikes.

the way the empty spots showed on television, I would have guessed closer to 35k... do those numbers include season ticket "no shows"?

but damn it was nice to beet the suckeyes, again (though that 4th and 7 or so reminded me a lot of Krentzle and 4th and 5 from however many years back).

Oooh, I like Columbus State as a name.

Just a small correction: Gaston blocked a PAT, not a field goal.

Chops/ATL- I read a projection of around 51,000 before the game and assumed that was tickets sold...but I can't find that number anywhere...so I changed it. Definitely not good. And I swear about 1/4 of those there were wearing Maurice Clarrett jerseys.

1234, you're correct...I shouldn't work on posts at 1:35am.

b-dowd: wasnt' trying to hammer you on the facts (anything less than a sell-out at this level is an issue, right?). It just seemed that 51k was a mighty generous estimate...

anybody else watching the game on Espn3? Gottlieb's voice is incredible annoying today.

Gottlieb is a tool.
