And IU, of course, will self-punish, once again...ahhh, the dreaded self-punishment. While I don't think Crean is a cheater, shouldn't he be a bit more careful...with the telephone?

Tom Crean can too count past one!! Afterall, he has SIX wins for Pete's sake! He just doesn't know that Sunday is the first day of the week and apparently didn't buy an IU basketball calendar either.
I think that because IU is so above it all and that this is just a big witch hunt and that it is Myles Brand's fault that IU is on probation to begin with, the Star should investigate other state schools and Big Ten schools in neighboring states because it is NOT FAIR to such an honorable, ethic-laden institution like IU to be singled out and raked over the coals!
Nevermind that we completely deserve it and solely brought this upon ourselves; there should be an investigation and it should be initiated by the state representatives from Monroe County - the same two guys that wanted an investigation of the NCAA when Duke beat us in the NCAA Tournament awhile back. That'll show everyone, yes it will!
I'll go on record hoping this is just a one time event. This type of thing seems to happen a lot among all school (insert joke about moreso with IU, I get it).
However, can't we just unplug the damn phones in Bloomington for a year? Knock down the wireless towers? Good heavens this is getting absurd.
Don't know if anyone else is watcing the Duke-Maryland game - but Jay Bilas just said something about Robbie Hummel threw Goran Suton to the floor last week with a ridiculous "no call". What a freaking tool. I finally lost all of my respect for the last ESPN commentator I still had a little for.
Yeah - Rob threw his ass on the ground - that sure is how he plays - such a dirty player that hummel.
Let's put it this way - if anyone on EsPN can get Hummel's name correct, or any other player's name on the Boiler's roster for that matter, then I'm impressed with the amount of "research" he must have done sometime in the minutes before the game. This guy is soooo biased for Duke/NC that he can't think straight.
As for IU - I don't think it is a big deal. I'm sure they are under the microscope right now.

Suton's a little guy...easy for a man of Hummel's physique to toss around like a ragdoll.
So what context compelled him to call bring up a single "no-call" from over a week ago not involving either team he was covering?
