64 days according to my countdown. I can't wait either, especially after some mouth breather called me a useless bag of hot air for having the gall to say Notre Dame's recruits were overrated and Purdue might win on the NBC blog.
A Notre Dame fan calling someone a "useless bag of hot air" is the very definition of irony.
I would think that for a $100,000 eduction, they could come up with a better word than "useless bag."

It would just feel too sweet to know how many ND hearts were breaking if we won in the opener...
Now that I actually live back here in the Midwest, it's exciting yet really SAD that football is only two months away... I'm not ready for another winter... in fact I'm pretty sure I'm headed back to CA for good this fall. But, I am excited to see where Purdue football really is... I think Danny Hope's second year will tell the tale. Are we on the right track or still in a free fall. The Big Ten isn't loaded with BCS caliber teams and ND isn't one either. We've got to be thinking at least 8 wins or else we'll be settling for a Northwestern mentality in football. The schedule is in our favor for 8 wins this year. I hope that HOPE delivers.
