One Big Arse Storm

Last night I think we had one of the longest sustained thunderstorms I've ever been through. Heavy thunder, lightning and wind woke me up about every 25 minutes between 12:15 am and 5:20...It was awesome! Sleep's over-rated anyway.

The base from the thunder was shaking parts of our house...I'm usually the type of person who sleeps through storms, but not last night.

Oh yeah, and you're welcome for this blog entry...hard-hitting stuff.

It's 88 here, weather.com says it "feels like" 94. No rain at the moment. I saw that the whole upper half of the country from midwest to northeast was getting pa-pounded today.

It's just like The Day After Tomorrow.

Hey Mo!

If you see any hail the size of bowling balls, run outside and get one to keep in your freezer...

Hail the size of bowling balls will probably invite themselves in without Mo having to go outside.

FINALLY a post written for someone like me.

I've been on the phone with King's Island in Cincy the past couple days, assuring them that yes, those thunderstorms will wipe them off the map.

b-dowd -- your comment looks like you're saying, "Mr. Hasselhoff."

And Ryan, we write all our posts with you in mind.

I had the same exact experience. Everytime the thunder woke me up, I kept wondering when it would finally end. I can't remember a thunderstorm lasting that long either.
