Today begins the Ryder Cup at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, and the United States is hanging in there and is at least not off to the horrible starts they've gotten off to in the last couple of Cups.
Without Tiger Woods, many think the Euros are just too strong but I do think playing in their home country is helpful for the U.S. And, sure, the Euros have won five of the past six, but let's not forget one key thing. This is a country vs. continent contest.

Sure, sure, the U.S. is larger, I get it. But the game was invented over there so I'm not sure how many advantages we need to give them. I guess it'll just make it sweeter when we take them down, even without Tiger.

I like the US to win it. Textbook example of the Patrick Ewing Theory.
