pathetic... Congratulations to Kory Sheets for playing a great game and actually showing up for his senior season. He might be playing well enough to get himself job in the NFL. I wish I had more analysis but it was just too painful to watch.

The odds of THIS team (and more importantly THIS coaching staff) running the table to get bowl eligibility is disappointingly small, bordering on negligible. I hope I'll be proved wrong.

I've mentioned this before, but former OC Bill Legg is doing a Miracle Worker-level job at Florida International University, which was widely considered the worst team in 1-A heading into this season. Not anymore. Heading into Saturday's game, the team's 3-game winning streak produced an offense that averaged 36 points/game, and the Golden Panthers were in the running for first place in their conference. Granted, the level of competition in the Sun Belt has been slight, and FIU did indeed lose to a pretty good Troy team... but I still think the wrong OC got sacked. I'm talking to you Coach Z.

gregg, the wrong coach left last season...but it wasn't Legg.

Chaney frustrated the fanbase, then Legg, now Z. Much like this season isn't on the shoulders of Painter's poor play, the offensive ineptitude is an issue that comes from the top.
