BS Readers Expect Sweet 16 This Year

More than 450 of you voted in our little informal poll on how far the Boilers would go in the NCAA tourney now that Rob is sidelined. And the plurality goes to Sweet 16, with 47% of the vote.

Next was Elite Eight at 26%, and 18% of you are still believers that this is a Final Four team. While one might look at that and think, "Wow, down to less than a fifth believing," I'd still say 18% is a lot higher than we've had believing a Purdue team could make the Final Four in many, many years.

Fortunately, only 7% think the Boilers are a one-and-done or less team. That's good, since losing to a 15 or 14 seed would be cause for merciless mocking from our enemies.

Parrish continuing the sentiment about Purdue not worthy of top 10 status.

Anyone else smelling the second round matchup with the Irish in Milwaukee?

Practically a home game for Notre Dame. They are located in an upscale, gated suburb of Chicago, right, ESPN?

That would be very enjoyable. Unless Purdue loses.

I would be thrilled with two wins and a sweet 16 appearance.
