It's a Party In the UGA

Hey, remember some of those awful videos from earlier this summer? Did you think it couldn't get any worse?

If you were designing something for an SEC school, would you make it as lame as you possibly could? Well, if you worked for Georgia admissions, you apparently would.

Holy moly. There are no words for how awful this University of Georgia orientation video is, after the jump.

Lame lyrics? Check.

Horrid sound quality? Check.

Some of the, presumably, only homely girls on the UGA campus? Oh yeah.

(Thanks to reader Keith for the heads up.)

I just wanted to say thank you for this! You have made my day and possibly the rest of this year. As a Boiler married to a rabid UGA alum/fan and SEC elitist, finally I have some ammunition. I wonder if this video was at all born of the only national title UGA claimed in 2010...best party school. Love your blog..its always a topic of conversation!

I am surprised you just now heard of this song. Is it not on everyone's top 10 list on the radio? It is here.

I also forgot to thank you. As a fellow Boiler married to a UGA alumn, I am looking forward to going home tonight to show her how proud her alma matter is making her.

T -- not sure I've seen that one.

There's also "We Built Sioux City," which was cringeworthy as well, but you expect that out of the state of Iowa. I always thought the SEC was awesome and exciting and hip.

I just graduated from Purdue, and am doing a PhD down at UGA. As much as I LOVE my big 10 football (and will be true to it!), it is in fact, a religion down here. As for women, well its rated 6th hottest student body, and I will certainly agree with that assessment! I have no idea where they found the ones for this video. I was certainly happier here before I saw this video though.

Oh, that reminds me... Gotta stop at Target after work.

Thanks for the reminder!
