"I love the Handsome Hour THIS much." |
So it looks like the "very special Blossom" episode of the Handsome Hour will be this week instead of next week, after all, eh?
Join us tonight at 11 PM Eastern Time, as we discuss all things Purdue. We'll probably have a hard time filling the 45 mins we're alotted by the always-awesome BlogTalkRadio, but maybe we'll talk about spring football or something.
Listen live and then tune in for the exciting final 15 minutes shortly afterwards.

Bernie's Bytes says a source close to J Money's thoughts found out The Handsome Hour has been rescheduled to 11:30 EST.
Oh wait, that's a douche that doesn't understand fact from fiction. It's at 11
It's comforting to know that I wasn't the only one that wasted half of my day obsessively clicking refresh on my twitter page. A very exciting time to be a Purdue sports fan if Painter did indeed obtain the resources of a major sports program. Winning=revenue=winning. Now if we could only get Burke/Cross out.
In regards to Burke's replacement I think he needs to be a football guy. Look around the Big Ten. Iowa's AD Barta, OSU's Gene Smith, UW's Alvarez, UM's Brandon are all football guys. I don't think that Burke is stupid so I assume he knows the importance of football and basketball to an athletic program. But because he was involved in a non major sport, I think he is less inclined to favor football and basketball over the other programs. Ex football players are bias towards football and basketball and that is a good thing when trying to run a successful athletic department. The other thing we need in an AD, which is obvious, is a guy like Painter. A guy who will not accept anything but a NC. Unfortunately it may be beneficial to go outside the Purdue family for this and get an AD from a school rich in sports tradition. Burke and a lot of other alums lived through the dark days of Purdue sports and seem to be willing to accept mediocrity because it is better than being last.
